Welcome Message from the Registrar
The Registry, headed by the Registrar, is the Secretariat of the University and the center-nerve, the rallying point of all administrative activities in the University. The Registrar is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration of the University. The Registrar of the University is appointed by the University Council to act as an adviser to the Vice-Chancellor. The Office of the Registrar provides secretarial services for all Boards, Committees of Council and the Academic Board and its Sub-committees. The Office generally ensures that the University, in its operations and decision-making, is in compliance with relevant public laws and the legal framework pertaining to its business. The Office of the Registrar is also responsible for the custody of the University Seal and for affixing it to documents in accordance with the directions of Council or Academic Board in the exercise of their respective powers under Act 672 and the Statutes.
